The Hook reviews shows in Hawke’s Bay, Aotearoa. Little shows, art shows, international shows, theatre shows, funny shows, pretentious shows, music shows, any shows we go to. Criteria is that it’s live and it’s local. We don’t reviews films or books or music recordings.
We are interested in hearing about shows, venues or happenings that may not currently be on our radar. And we’re always happy to hear from anyone keen to try their hand at a Hook review – you don’t have to be a ‘proper’ writer. We have a ‘how to hook’ reviewer’s guide and we’re encouraging of emergent reviewers.
